About Ember

Ember is a purebred Doberman (genetic testing confirmed). She is a gentle soul with a heart full of love and an outsized personality. Ember came to AHeinz57 rescue as a stray. When she first arrived, Ember was nervous and unsure, clearly shaped by a past that included being a mama dog and spending time in confined spaces. Now in a foster home, Ember is blossoming. She's doing great with house training and can be trusted with the run of the home. Ember is a true velcro dog-she thrives on companionship and loves to be close to her people. Cuddles are her favorite. She's great with other dogs, friendly and eager to play. She shows a submissive side without being shy. Ember has spent several weekend with cats and she's find. She's great with kids but might accidentally knock down little ones so a home without small children would be ideal. Ember is working on basic commands-- she's easy to train because she is food AND toy motivated! Because of her energy and need to do zoomies, a fenced-in yard is a must to keep her on her best behavior. She enjoys cuddling on the sofa so would thrive in a home where that is allowed!
