About Cooper

Sometimes we have an old man come into rescue that captures everyone's hearts, and Cooper is such a dog. Cooper is a 15 year old 12 pound black dachshund who is looking for a retirement home. This sweet old man is very loving and gets along very well with other dogs and children. Cooper is a submissive boy who would like a calm home. He is very laid back and sweet. He loves to have a bath, so much so that he will fall asleep in the tub! Cooper has arthritis and sometimes he has a bit of a struggle standing up but we are hoping that some medication for his condition will really help with this. Cooper is housetrained, but he does not ask to go outside, and needs to be reminded with a regular schedule. This sweet boy is hanging out in a wonderful foster home in Ohio, where he is treasured.
