About Hazel

Hazel showed up on our patio 5 weeks ago. She would roam the neighborhood a bit but always slept on our chair on the patio. She is actually a Carolina Dog, but that wasn't an option in the drop down and fits all of those characteristics to a tee. She is very sweet, but very high energy and will chase cars and cats. We were trying to find her a foster or someone to adopt her but with no luck we decided to bring her in so she wouldn't get hit by a car. We have a cat which makes keeping her impossible. She walks great on a leash and is house trained. She doesn't chew on anything if properly exercised but gets bored easily and does need some very consistent training. We are working on the basic commands now and has learned to sit, lay down, and stay (while on a leash only for now). She has been passed from owner to owner so looking for a forever home!
