Charlie is a wonderful well behaved gentleman who was surrendered to us after his family thought he would be better in an active family who could bring him to places and be social. What a great dog!! He is a year and 2 months old and 50LBS. He is fostered in Cape Coral with other dogs and doing great. Also good with cats. A note from his foster Mom Robyn: If someone were to ask you what would be your ideal dog to adopt, you would probably say that you want a dog that: Is young but no longer has puppy behaviors- Does not shed-Is healthy, neutered and vaccinated- Plays well with big dogs, little dogs and children- Loves to snuggle, and is loving- Walks well on a leash- Is social Does not exhibit separation or storm anxiety-Is crate trained- Is not food or toy aggressive- This describes Charlie and he is so much more!!! If I were to ask Charlie what would be his ideal forever home, he would want me to tell you that he wants a home that has people that love him as much as he loves them- Wants a dog to cuddle with and is not gone all day Allows him to run freely everyday, such as a fenced yard or dog park- Activity, stimulation and opportunities for socialization- Other dogs to play with Walks so he can get his smells in- To feel safe that this is his forever home His adoption fee is $980.00 We are a small rescue, and every adoption helps us continue caring for more dogs in need. That sweet little one you fall in love with is also helping their friends still waiting for homes - including some with medical conditions whose vet bills we work hard to cover. Your support makes all the difference, and we hope you can appreciate the love and effort that goes into every rescue. For the safety and well-being of both dogs and families, we do not adopt to homes with young children, and if you are a senior, we kindly ask you to consider adopting a more mature dog who may be a perfect match for your lifestyle. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us give these wonderful dogs the second chance they deserve.
