About Sadie

Sadie is an owner surrender heeler who has not really had such a great life! Due to personal issues, she was going to be abandoned by her owner, who contacted us for help. Sadie is a very sweet girl about 5 yrs old, who has really not had a lot of socialization. She is great with people,sweet and affectionate, but needs optimization in a home situation. We do think at one time in her life she lived indoors, but she needs to be reoriented to that life again. Slow intro to other dogs, an adequate decompression time and patience and love will help this tiny 30 pd girl acclimate to new surroundings. She will need to be spayed once she is more confident. She has had all her shots, and a negative hw test. We are in need of a more permanent foster or foster to adopt that can meet Sadies needs and give her space, time and patience to acclimate. She is currently in a VERY temporary foster home and needs to relocate. We do need a heeler savvy person and one that be in charge and be firm when needed. Currently in Sarasota.
