Before I took ownership of her, Chloe grew up together with her 2 sisters as outdoor only dogs in a small, confined yard with nothing but the bare minimum of food and water available to her. Despite this upbringing, Chloe has grown into a relaxed, sweet, and loving pup that will be happy to spend all day snuggling and lounging on the couch. Chloe is a very laidback doggy. She loves to spend the day lounging in her dog bed only occasionally getting up to eat, drink, and pee. On occasions she can get a bee in her bonnet and get into a barking spree at some unknown thing outside, but for the most part she's happy to just quietly sit and enjoy some Z's. That's not to say that she doesn't/won't play, as she is definitely willing to play both with dogs and with people. She does just fine during storms, though she would like some extra tummy rubs anyway. Overall, she's a very mild mannered girl that's happy to just be along for the ride. Chloe loves to play with her sisters and other dogs, though she usually isn't the one initiating the play. She's put in many hours in the puppy horseplay bootcamp, sparring together with her sisters nearly daily. One thing she does enjoy greatly is water and mud! One of her favorite things to do is put both her paws in the water bowl and start splashing like crazy! If it has just finished raining, she would love to go outside and splash in all the puddles, spraying mud all over herself and anything she can touch, so be careful with when you let her have free reign outside. She's also happy to chase friends across the yard. As for playing with people, she doesn't have much a penchant for it. She would much rather lay down and get belly rubs than chase a ball or play tug. She's a lover, not a fighter. Chloe isn't the brightest bulb in the box, as she's a good deal slower to pick up on training/tricks than her sisters. She has learned how to sit and lay down, but still hasn't quite figured out the doggy door. She is house-broken though! Chloe is fully vaccinated and seems to be in perfect puppy health. She is kept tick, flea, and heartworm free with both bravecto and interceptor. Her fur doesn't require any special care and it seems like she doesn't need baths more than the average pup (barring any muddy exceptions). She's a very modest eater, often leaving some kibble left in her bowl or occasionally skipping a meal. Sometimes I worry she isn't eating enough, but she's maintained a good weight and figure so I let her be. Chloe is a laidback, loving and gentle soul that's looking to find a home she can call her own.
