About Gordo

Gordo is a one year old, super sweet and gentle, happy, playful 12 pound Chihuahua & Dachshund mix pup. He is seeking a calm, warm hearted, loving, fun home. He is fostered in Amity, Oregon. Gordo is close to 100% house trained on a good schedule. He walks well on leash, loves to snuggle, run and play. He adores another playful dog where he is fostered and will warm up to any smaller playful pup. He is neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, micro-chipped and on flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $250. A great home for Gordo and his must haves include: 1. An owned home with a securely fenced yard. 2. Folks not gone long hours and who will include Gordo in their fun activities. 3. People who will show this sweetheart how much fun life can be. He was born into a motel room with 17 other small dogs, and never went outdoors or met new people until 3 months ago. He is ready to rock the good life with you. 4. Gordo would enjoy quieter and calmer children over 7 with great dog manners. He may need a little time to adjust, as he has not been around children, but he is sweet and we feel comfortable that he would do well. 5. Gordo would love another small dog to play with, but will do fine with loving humans. 6. Folks who walk their dogs daily, and are very loving. 7. Given Gordo's young age, and the usual long life span of his breeds, we seek folks up to young retiree age, with whom he can happily live out his life.
