About Macy

*Courtesy post** Meet Macy, a 2-year-old, 30-pound red heeler who is as smart as she is active. This sweet girl is currently waiting in boarding and really needs a foster or forever home where she can thrive. Macy walks beautifully on leash, is potty trained, and even uses a dog door. She loves a good game of fetch and will happily bring the ball back every time. True to her breed, she has shown herding tendencies and will nip at the heels of other dogs, so older kids would be best in her new home as she may try the same with little ones. Macy would make an excellent walking or hiking buddy and is looking for an active family who understands her breed. She has done well with other dogs, though her compatibility with cats is unknown. Macy is ready to leave boarding behind and start her next chapter with a loving foster or adopter.
