This dapper gentlemen is Pavarotti. Pavarotti appears to be a Maine Coon/Domestic Mix and has been age estimated by my vet to be between one to two years of age. Abandoned by his owners when they moved, a neighbor began feeding him. Unfortunately facing an unlawful detainer his feeder was no longer able to care for this handsome guy. In response to a plea for assistance I agree to make Pavarotti one of my rescue wards and on September 3, 2025 he was transported to me. Upon his arrival he sang a very sad song. His meows reaching a heartbreaking crescendo as he voiced his sadness at being homeless. While he continues to be a singer with an incredible range his meows have taken on a merrier melody, a trill of happiness. With each day his coat becomes softer and sleeker. He has melded into my crew mixing nicely with six other kitties and two elderly dogs. As seen in his photo sofa lounger is one of his favorite pastimes, stretching out making air biscuits as his long whiskers stretch for miles. Window sitting is another favorite of Pavarotti. While doing so he will chirp as gazes intently at the outside goings on. He is working on mastering toy playing and is proficient at lap lounging/cuddling. His cat boxing habits have been impeccable although he has had anxiety accidents while being transported in a carrier to and from my vet's office. An all round affable gent, Pavarotti has been neutered, combo tested negative for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, received a rabies/distemper vaccination and been microchipped. If in the market for a lead vocalist with operatic aspirations who loves to hone his skills, Pavarotti could be the kitty man for you. Feel free to contact me. I do when possible like to receive a vet reference for potential adopters.
