About Malu

Hello. Malu is a very good dog with no behavior issues beyond barking when someone gets close to the fence. He is loving and likes to lean against you. He is definitely food motivated and will do great in a home with activity. But he is calm when hanging out in the house. He loves to run and go for walks. He hasn't had a real open area, but if you have acreage he will be ecstatic. He is calm in a house and just likes to be around his people. He likes to roll in the grass. Malu enjoys laying in the sun and going for walks. He generally right now is just in the backyard or house due to work schedule. He likes most toys; doesn't really have a favorite. Malu would thrive in a family or adult home . He was raised around young kids, and does great with adults too. He would be happiest in a large yard or acreage with room to run. Malu knows how to sit and come. He pulls on his leash but I think that is more because he doesn't get out alot. He enjoys just being around his people, and is calm. He is crate-trained and potty-trained. Malu is neutered. He is not up to date on his shots. No special medical needs or issues. He is overall very healthy. Malu's back story is that he was my partner's dog. When we broke up, she abandoned him and left him here, telling me to take him to a shelter, which is not fair. This was over 2 years ago. We no longer have contact. I am not able to care for 2 dogs, but want him to have a loving home. He is a good dog and deserves to have a great family.
