About Bieber

My heart absolutely breaks that I have to rehome my dog. I love him so much and he is the sweetest and most handsome and love able of dogs to myself and my daughter. Unfortunately, however, is that he's so loyal and loves so deeply that it sometimes causes some aggression. B needs a job. He's an active pure bred Aussie and it is absolutely in his nature to run and do what he was bred to do - be a herder. Because I do not have the luxury of living on a farm or on a piece of property to give him that space he needs, I feel as though he thinks his 'new' job is to protect me. He can be too protective at times. B is beautiful. He has a huge heart and melts into your lap. I swear he hugs me. I just don't think I can provide for him the life he needs. I lost my husband several months ago and have had to move and the property I moved to has a lot of other dogs running around. He is GREAT with dogs but only if I'm not around. And I have a young daughter who he is the best with but he can also be a little too protective of her and barks at her friends and runs up to them and it scares them. In my perfect world, B would be living on a farm. Herding sheep or cows. And, ideally, would be without other dogs. Definitely without cats. He just needs a job and I don't have the time to give him what he needs and it breaks my heart. I was asked to rehome him by my landlord. I also have an elderly male dog who B has been aggressive with and I'm scared he might hurt my senior boy. Please contact me and I can provide more information and more pictures. I have an appointment this upcoming week with a dog psychologist to see if we can figure out his triggers and how to control them. But as of right now, I do need to find a new home for him at the request of my new landlords. Either that or I need to find a new home for myself and my daughter but we can barely afford where we just moved to.
