FLOWER: FROM UNDER A BUSH TO UNDER A BLANKET Terrier-Mix Available for Foster or Adoption in Illinois on October 15th. Hi. I'm Flower. A little black and white terrier mix, around 2 years old, and approx. 20 pounds of scruffy sweetness with eyes that have seen things I'd rather forget. You'd never guess it now, but not long ago I was surrendered by my owner in Georgia - pregnant, scared, and alone. I didn't know who to trust. It was such a scary situation because I was all alone and fully pregant. On August 10th, 2025, I gave birth to seven tiny puppies with nothing but a hope and a prayer. Then came a miracle. Angel Dog Alliance took us in on August 20th. They scooped up this little mama and gave me a soft bed, warm food, and the safety I never had. And I gave everything I had to raising those babies. I was a good mom. I still am. My pups are almost weaned now, and I've made it all the way to Illinois. And it's time. My time. I'm not a 'life of the party' kind of dog. I'm more of a 'curl up in your lap and melt into your chest' type. I love humans who are calm and gentle. If you're looking for a quiet companion who wants nothing more than to snuggle by your side, I'm your girl. I'm good with calm dogs. I don't really play with them, but I coexist just fine. Cats? Little kids? I haven't been tested. But loud, high-energy chaos? That makes me anxious. I'd much rather be in a peaceful home with older kids or adults who get me. I'm vaccinated, heartworm negative, crate trained, and ready. I will be spayed when my little body is ready. I may have started out in a rough situation, but I deserve a spot under the covers now - and a human who will never let me go. Could that be you? Please love me.
