About Jack

Jack was found by my son on June 26. He was in a crate w/siblings being dumped in a residential neighborhood. All the puppies ran through a fence except for Jack. My son picked him up so he wouldn't get hit by a car. He brought him to us as he could not take care of a dog. We thought we would foster for a bit. The next day we took him to the vet and were told he was about 8-10 weeks old. He was 4.7lbs at the time. He's now 12lbs. Jack, who is considered a 'Dorkie', is a very lovable, smart and energetic pup. He's a love bug in the morning when he wakes up. He stretches and wants his belly rubbed. Then wants some love before heading outside. He is crate trained and sleeps well. He is also potty trained, still goes inside at times, but on puppy pads, and knocks at the door to go potty outside. He does have the occasional accident inside as he's only about 5mo old. He is fully vaccinated, including his rabies shot. He is on flea prevention and heartworm meds. Jack has also started walks and loves to go outside to walk and play. Training him with a longline to come when called and to stay is a must if you want him to listen to you.
