This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. We rescued Bennett in February 2025 off the streets in Duval. He was skin and bones and had heartworms. We were able to put at least 20 pounds on him and he had his first heartworm treatment shot in May and next one is scheduled for October. I have 3 other dogs in the home. one male and 2 females. My other male absolutely cannot stand the new male. They have been in about 5 fights that have been initiated by the male we already had. The new male does great with the females, kids, adults. Listens to commands. I cannot say if he is good with other males or not because my current dog is the one attacking Bennet. He is such a great boy, loyal and confident but is not being accepted by our other male. So, it is only fair to get rid of the newest rescue. Our goal originally was to make sure he did not die on the streets, and we did that. Now he needs a loving home.
