Hi! I am a purebred GSP and have been with my mom all my life. Sadly my mom has been very sick and unable to care for me so I am looking for a new home. My family likes to say that I am an energizer bunny because I could spend ALL DAY just running around and never get tired. I would thrive in an active family that wants to include me in all their adventures. I'd also like to try out new doggy sports like dock diving (I love the water!) or hunting activities. And while i've never run a marathon, it sounds like it would be my favorite thing ever!! Don't get me wrong, though, while I love running, I also know when it's time for bed and settle down quickly. I have decent manners, am kennel trained, house trained, great for nail trims and pick up new tricks very quickly. I do struggle with severe allergies in Augusta, GA but have never had allergies in other places i've lived. I do not think I would do well in a family that has small kids (Sometimes I run into people when I get excited), cats or small dogs.
