Meet Selena! Born on May 18, 2025, Selena is a gorgeous young pup who may be a mix of Doberman and Australian Kelpie - and she truly has the best qualities of both breeds. At about 35 pounds, she likely won't get much bigger, making her the perfect medium-sized companion. Her stunning dark and light brown coat shines beautifully, her pearly white smile lights up every room, and her soulful eyes will melt your heart in an instant. If she does have Doberman in her, you'll see it in her deep loyalty, intelligence, and strong desire to bond closely with her people. Dobermans are known for being devoted, affectionate, and eager to please - and Selena absolutely thrives on connection and being near her humans. From the Australian Kelpie side, she seems to have inherited a bright mind, playful spirit, and wonderful attentiveness. Kelpies are known for their agility, responsiveness, and enthusiasm for activity - which fits perfectly with Selena's joyful backyard zoomies and her quick learning skills. Selena is crate trained and potty trained, making her an easy addition to the right home. She actually enjoys cozying up in her crate - it's her safe little haven! She loves zooming around the backyard with playful bursts of energy and then rushing back in to shower you with the sweetest kisses. She's both dog and cat friendly, and in her foster home she absolutely LOVES cuddling up with the resident cat. It's one of her favorite things! While she enjoys other animals, she doesn't necessarily need another dog in the home - what she truly needs is a loving family to call her own.
