About Mocha

Mocha is a 10.5-month-old female Rottweiler who was surrendered when her owner's new job made it difficult to give her the time and care she needs. In her previous home, Mocha lived with children, including one as young as a year old, and another dog. She also met a few other dogs but here at the shelter she has shown that her energy can be overwhelming for dog play. She will be working with our trainer on socialization and learning how to better interact with new dogs. Mocha does not do well with people messing with her food, so feeding her in a crate or a separate space would be the best routine for her. Like many young Rottweilers, she will benefit from continued training, consistency, and plenty of activity to help her thrive. Mocha is an energetic pup looking for a home that can keep up with her and give her the structure she needs to grow into a wonderful companion.
