She was labeled 'too shut down' to save. Now, Sunflower is in bloom. Sunflower was placed on the euthanasia list at the shelter-completely terrified, overwhelmed, and unable to show the world who she really was. But rescue stepped in just in time, and today, in her quiet Pennsylvania foster home, her true heart is finally shining through. The Sunflower Profile: Age: Just over 3 years old (the perfect young adult!) Personality: Incredibly gentle, deeply affectionate, and loves quiet moments. Dogs: Doing beautifully with her resident foster dog buddy. Cats: Looking for a peaceful, cat-free home. Fun Fact: She is absolutely obsessed with chasing her favorite tennis balls! Sunflower doesn't need a loud, chaotic life-she just needs a patient leader and a calm routine that will let her continue to bloom at her own pace.
