About MCCOY

McCoy is a sleek, 10 lb seal- and- white chihuahua mix with long legs. He came to us after being turned in as a stray at a local shelter so we don't know much about his background. The shelter estimated his age at 10 years, but his foster family feels he is much younger - maybe even an adolescent (his teeth are white and shiny!). McCoy loves to chase balls, play with squeaky toys and is a higher energy guy. McCoy would thrive in a household that would accommodate an outlet for his energy: walks, outings, and someone to play with and teach him basic manners or even tricks. McCoy loves people and has been friendly with everyone he's met. He gets very attached to his people and does bark and howl for 15-20 minutes when his people leave the house but settles down after awhile and has not been destructive in his foster home. When you get back home, he greets you with excited spins and gentle kisses. He has been reliably house trained in his foster home. McCoy is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped.
