About Mabel

Updated post 9/15/25 - Mabel was not spayed today as planned. Mabel is a 2 1/2 year old female French bulldog. Mabel is very sweet and has gotten along well with our Australian Shepherd puppy. We agreed to take Mabel from Texas. We were told she was potty trained and that was proven false. We never would have agreed to take her in if we had known this as we work full time. We've had her about 6 weeks and haven't made much progress. We were hoping she'd pick it up from our puppy as he's doing quite well. We know nothing about the environment she came from except she has had one littler via c-section in June, 2024. She is a complete love bug and very pretty. She listens quite well except for what I'm assuming is the normal French bulldog stubbornness. She loves to chase a ball and returns it well. She needs a home with someone who can put in the daily time needed to get her pottying outside. We received no vaccination history on her although assume she was up to date at least at the time of her c-section. We have had her assessed at our vet and she received her updated vaccinations. She has been crated during the day but has been sleeping in our bed at night . She's a cuddler. She's very quiet and we haven't heard her bark. She was very timid in her first couple of weeks with us but has opened up nicely. She would make a wonderful addition to a home who has experience with French bulldogs or adult dogs needing help with potty training.
