Preston - AVAILABLE 5 Year Old, 8 Pound Neutered Male Chihuahua/Shiba Inu or Pomeranian Mix ��%BD��%BD%BD'��%BD Active, shy but friendly ��%BD��%BD%BD'��%BD Playful with other willing dogs ��%BD��%BD%BD'��%BD Likes to fetch (but not return) ball or toy ��%BD��%BD%BD'��%BD Uses his human as just another couch pillow but often becomes bored after a few minutes Preston is an energetic 5 year old, neutered Chihuahua mix. He looks like there is Shiba Inu or Pomeranian also in his background. Preston likes going for walks & exploring the yard. He can be shy at first, but with time, treats & maybe a soft or squeaky toy, Preston shows his friendly side. Regarding kids, Preston hasn't been around many since going into foster care. He is a small guy, but when taking treats Preston sometimes gets impatient & gets the hand that feeds him. So maybe a home with older kids would be best. Preston gets along with the dogs in his foster home. He runs & plays a little with the big & medium size guys. There are no cats in his foster home. He would likely not present a danger to cats, but a resident cat might be annoyed by Preston's interest. Preston likes to play chase with another dog or 2 inside or outside. Preston is often in the mood to run after & around with a toy. Preston does often prefer you to be outside with him. Preston would like a family regularly to take him for walks for exercise & nose work. With his above average energy, a small dog secure fenced yard is a plus. Preston is housetrained, neutered, microchipped, fecal & heartworm tested negative, up to date on routine vaccines.
