Meet Charlie: One look, and you'll feel the connection. Charlie's soulful green eyes are so mesmerizing, you'll know-he's been waiting for you. Charlie is almost a 2-year-old orange tabby with soft ginger stripes and the kind of gentle, affectionate soul that melts hearts on sight. What makes him special? His endearing green eyes sparkle with curiosity and warmth, and his favorite thing in the world? You!! Ginger boys like Charlie are often described as gentle extroverts: affectionate, playful, and deeply bonded to the people they love intensely. He's the kind of cat who will greet you at the door, follow you from room to room, and curl up beside you at night, purring contentedly. His Story Charlie was adopted at 6 months old and has grown into a mush ball of love-outgoing, cuddly, and always eager for attention. His current owner surrendered him back to the rescue, She adores him deeply but has realized that her demanding work schedule and desire for more social time after hours mean Charlie isn't getting the companionship he craves. She's made the loving decision to re-home him so he can have the attention, playtime, and snuggles he deserves. He needs a special person and not a foster home. Charlie was sooo incredibly happy to be someone's ginger heart throb. Charlie's not just looking for a home. And once you're his person, you're his forever. Health & History Charlie had two brothers he absolutely adored-he played with them constantly and naturally took on the big brother role, always watching out for them and initiating games. Those two were adopted together, and while Charlie adjusted, it's clear he misses having a feline companion. We believe he'd be happiest in a home with another friendly kitty to share his playful energy and snuggle time. He's happiest when he has interactive toys, cat springs, things that slide, climbing spots, and someone to share his adventures with. He is a large, muscular boy that has been neutered, my vaccines were updated, and micro-chipped-just one of the many benefits of adopting through Rusty's Tales Rescue. We're currently transitioning into two branches: - Rusty's Tales Rescue for adoptable kitties like me - Snow Camp Sanctuary for supporting feral cats. Charlie's not just looking for a home-he's looking for a bond that lasts a lifetime. And once you're his person, you're his forever.
