Kona is located in a high kill shelter in Castaic, California. The LA shelters are in severe overcrowding conditions and young healthy dogs are being euthanized at an alarming rate!!! She is definitely a mix. Her owner listed her primary breed as a Dalmatian and secondary as Boxer/pitbull. You'll just have to adopt and DNA to know for sure. Whatever her breed, she is the perfect mix and will make the perfect pet. Kona is not too big and not too small, she is a perfect medium size. Kona is not too energetic and not too lazy, she is the perfect medium energy. She is affectionate but not needy. She is playful and smart. Kona's owner said she is crate and house trained. They said she likes to play fetch and walk, but her favorite activity is eating. Kona was surrendered for a fight with another dog in the home. The behavior team found her to be social but not playful with other dogs. Her owner suggested she might do better as an only dog. And when you find the perfect dog, that is all you need!
