About Moon

Moon (female border collie/blue heeler mix) is 5 years old, spayed, house trained, and up-to-date on shots. She loves kids, is submissive with other dogs, and is friends with our cat. Both of her parents are working dogs on ranches. While she has never worked livestock, she would easily pick it up as she has learned dozens of words and phrases. She is very responsive to hand and voice commands. Fetch is her favorite activity, and she loves to do tricks for treats. She's past the puppy stage and doesn't chew on carpet, clothes, or furniture. Her perfect day would include following you around the farm helping with chores, playing fetch, and snuggling. She's a Velcro dog, meaning she would love nothing more than to cuddle on your lap all evening. She loves to be involved in whatever you are doing. She is incredibly sweet, and very in tune with body language and tone of voice. We are looking for a home for her (preferably a farm) where she will be happily busy during the day and then allowed to come in at night.
