About Alec

Alec is a chocolate-colored Pomeranian mix with a soft, plush coat and the sweetest teddy bear personality. He weighs about 11 pounds and has a perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly charm. At just a year and a half old, he is still full of puppy curiosity and always ready to make you smile. He is an early bird who loves to play in the morning and chase after your feet as you walk, rolling over for belly rubs the moment you look his way. Alec enjoys toys, bones, and spending time outside, but his favorite thing of all is playing with other dogs. He would do best with another small, friendly companion to help him feel secure and burn off his playful energy. Alec can show a little separation anxiety when left alone, but since joining his foster's household with another dog, he has settled beautifully. He loves naps and snuggling close, sometimes curling up beside you and other times climbing into your lap for extra affection. He is gentle and loving, and if he has really missed you, you might be lucky enough to get one of his special little kisses. He is doing well with potty training, sleeps through most of the night, and is comfortable with a regular schedule and access to a yard. Alec has learned to use a harness and is making great progress on walks. Loud noises and cars can startle him, but with gentle encouragement, he continues to grow in confidence and explore a little further each day. He also rides well in the car, staying calm and quiet, making him an easy travel companion. Alec is fully vetted, including a full examination, neuter, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and microchipping. He is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
