About Skittles

This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Beagle? Our boy Skittles may look nothing like a beagle, but he definitely has many of their attributes, including the voice! He is a 9-month-old, 15 lb. bundle of energy who is always ready for walks or playtime. On the positive attributes of a beagle, Skittles has a good, steady personality; he adores his foster dad and is good with other dogs and strangers alike. He is ok with the resident cat but would enjoy a good chase if given the opportunity. Skittles is housetrained with supervision and is also crate trained. He sleeps quietly through the night. He rides well in a crate in the car. Skittles came into rescue as an emaciated stray with significant hair loss but his hair is coming in nicely and he has gained weight. He enjoys our 2.5-mile morning walks and running in the fenced back yard with the other dogs. Skittles does 'sit' for his meals but could benefit from further training.
