About Thor

This boy requires a savvy large breed puppy home, has the finances, emotional health/physical health and a welcoming loving home with preferable a fenced in yard and/or land. A person or family that enjoys time with their dog and hiking, adventures etc. He is too sweet and came from such a terrible situation not to get the best loving home possible. An adoption contract is required for neutering. MEXICO, NEW YORK - (another THOR), an 11 month old pure bred male Saint Bernard puppy. (DOB 09-11-24) approx. 90 lbs. Thor was rescued by another saint bernad loving home. She took him in 3 weeks ago as he had been living a majority of his young life on a chain tied to a tree. He is very smart, knows commands and listens well. He does have some food aggression with the cats, but that has changed since we have been feeding him great food. He is on nexgard plus currently. He has come so far. He was rescue and saved from the hot weather tied to a tree by an angel who knew she wouldn't be able to keep him. Thor has come so far. He is house trained, loves people and other dogs. NO Stranger danger. Everyone he meets is a forever friend. Unfortunately he needs far more time and space than his wonderful rescuer can provide at this time. He plays well with her female saint and has gained weight (was de-wormed). Up to 90-100 lbs. currently. He is currently on nexgard plus. Making plans to get to vet for vax/wellness exam. FROM CURRENT OWNER/FOSTER: I do not want him bounced around as he's already went from a breeder to a home to me�'�| he will need a home with NO CATS or small children. He is very hyper and has no sense of his body/surroundings. He is a very good dog with so much love and intelligence, he just needs someone to provide him with the life he deserves and I just can not do that right now. THOR is good in the car. Beginning to learn to put his head out the window. Unsure of water yet. Doesn't seem to play too much with toys at all, not even really people, like he doesn't know how. Very good with other dogs, him and my female play so well together.
