I'm helping rehome Luca, a 5-year-old intact shepherd mix, on behalf of his current family. His people love him but can't give him the time, consistency, and training he needs, and they want him to have a better life. ��%BD��%BD%90%BE About Luca: - 5 years old, shepherd mix - NO current vaccines or vet care within last 4 years, but healthy to current owners knowledge - Kennel trained - Walks well on leash with no pull lead - Good with kids and cats - Female dogs ONLY - Loves car rides and snuggles with his people ��%BDs%A0��%BD��%BD%8F What to know: - MUST be the only male dog in the home - Not house trained; he will need a patient owner willing to work on potty training - Has not had formal training before - Needs slow, structured introductions and someone confident with shepherd behaviors - Known reactivity towards unfamiliar men (growling) - No bite history - Not muzzle trained - Doesn't like baths ��%BD��%BD%8F��%BD Ideal Home: Luca needs a home with someone patient, experienced, and committed to training. He would do best with a structured environment, consistency, and a person or family that has time to help him grow. Please note: He is not a fit for first-time dog owners and will not be rehomed to those without experience in reactive dogs. ��%BD��%BD��%BD%8D He is currently in the Manchester, NH area.
