About MIKO

We rescued Miko from a negligent situation. Her owner was arrested on drug charges and did not tell the officers he had Miko and her sister at home for 2 weeks. She was very skiddish at first, but took to her male rescuer quickly, and eventually others in the household. However, she still has issues with visitors when around her 'family' She has a tendency to nip at ankles or calves when feeling anxious, so an experienced handler is a must. We love this dog dearly, but have an infant granddaughter that we cannot trust her around. She is extremely energetic, and loves playing with her sisters! She is a hoarder, so check her crate regularly, especially if you are missing socks! She is very well trained for the alpha male in the house, to the point no leash is needed when he is around. She is extremely intelligent and will take quickly to an experienced handler!
