Meet Hazel - Sweet & Playful Mini Aussie Looking for Her Forever Home Hazel is a super sweet 7-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd weighing about 13 lbs. Don't let her size fool you - she is full of energy, personality, and love. Hazel adores playing tug and fetch, is highly trainable, and knows lots of tricks. She is housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained. What Hazel Loves: -Playing tug-of-war and endless games of fetch -Outdoor adventures - she's happy to join you at the beach, on hikes, or running in an open field -Learning new tricks and showing off how smart she is -Being an affectionate and loyal companion to her person Hazel's Ideal Home: Hazel struggles with anxiety and can be fearful of new people, so she does best in a calm and structured environment. When guests visit, she usually needs her own quiet space. She does not get along with other dogs or with very young children, which is why we are seeking a new home for her. Hazel would thrive as the only pet in a household with no young kids (older children or adults only). She would be a perfect match for an active family or individual who enjoys spending time outdoors and giving her plenty of play and exercise. She is currently on medication for her anxiety, but it's possible her symptoms may ease in a more suitable home environment. Hazel is a bright, loving, and adventurous little dog who deserves a forever home where she can feel safe, cherished, and included.
