About Irwin

Hi! My name is Irwin. My foster mom tells me all the time that I am a very soft and loving boy. I am sad because nobody has reached out about adopting me. Foster mom thinks it is because I have a black fur coat which she promises me is very shiny and handsome. She also tells me that I am a very good boy and that I am very smart. I am really hoping that somebody will give me a chance. Here are foster mom's favorite things about me: Handsome little nugget with the cutest ear flip; Softest, shiniest fur + forever puppy face; Eager to please + ready to learn anything that his humans will teach him; Loves to chase toys but also enjoys affection; Dog friendly (in foster with 2 small dogs that he mostly leaves alone + has an active play style with larger dogs); Was boarded on a farm + did well with horses, turkeys + chickens; Crate + potty trained; Very toy motivated; Playful + LOVES playing with his rope toy; Self entertains in the backyard; Enjoys walks + is not reactive; Very food motivated + super smart which is great for training; Has learned sit, down, place, wait, stay, touch + paw; Eager to please + in tune with his humans; LOVES hanging out with the foster teenagers!! Perfect size at 55 lbs! Foster mom tells me I am very silly and make her laugh! She says I have lots of personality and assures me that somebody will want to meet me someday soon. I hope so.
