SHADOW is an 11-year-old, 20-pound Pom mix who was originally rescued from a shelter, adopted from us years ago, and recently returned after the passing of his owner. %BD Shadow's Wishlist %BD %BD%BD%BD Fun furry friend %BD%BD%BD Fenced yard %BD%BD%BD Someone to love True to his name, SHADOW follows his person everywhere. He loves people and is content to be where they are, whether lying right up against you or watching from another couch or dog bed. He only gets barky when he's especially excited, but otherwise he's a sweet, easy companion who simply wants someone to adore and to adore him back. SHADOW gets along beautifully with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playful canine friend to join him in zoomies and squirrel-chasing escapades. You'd never guess he's a senior, he still does joyful little circles whenever anything fun happens: going outside, coming back in, mealtime, treats%BD'%BD| you name it! SHADOW seems house trained but will use a pee pad if left for long hours. A fenced yard would be ideal so he can stretch his legs and play safely. He enjoys toys more than he lets on, he's been caught on video shaking a stuffed animal with great enthusiasm. He is good on a leash and enjoys walks. At night, SHADOW sleeps in bed with his foster family, curled up close and content. This friendly guy is the perfect mix of cuddly, playful, and loyal. He'd fit in just about anywhere, as long as he has a person to follow and love! SHADOW has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, had a dental, is heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida.
