About Sammy

Sammy is s super sweet 2.5 yo purebred female American Lab. She previously belonged to a family member who has recently passed, and we have been lucky to foster her while finding her a loving home. She previously lived with her dad and two siblings on a river bank in Indiana where they were our family members whole world. She loves to go on walks but is new to the leash and just walks slow. She loves to play in water and snuggle on the couch. She has adapted well to the transition to our home and gets along great with our two other dogs. She listens well and did well with a baby visiting the house, but we are unsure how she does with cats. She doesn't care much for fetch but sits with us and watches her siblings and our dogs play. We also have her sister and would love if they could be adopted together if possible, but feel she would adjust well to a loving family if that wasn't an option.
