Excited to accept Foster-to-Adopt applications for Lovely Luna! Meet Luna, a gorgeous 3-year-old red tri-Aussie - a stunning mix of chestnut brown, deep chocolate, cappuccino, and white, with an irresistibly soft coat. Luna is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, crate-trained, and the perfect medium size at around 40 lbs. This athletic girl has endless energy and a sharp mind-she will thrive with a confident, experienced herding breed owner who can provide structure, training, and plenty of stimulation. She is squirrel-obsessed (and once even cleared a fence to chase a deer!), so she now wears a GPS tracker and is never left unattended outdoors. A secure, fenced-in yard is essential for her safety and happiness. Luna is a natural athlete and would excel in ANY dog sport-agility, flyball, disc, canicross, you name it. She's also an excellent running partner and walks beautifully on leash. Highly intelligent, Luna learns routines quickly, and ARMA will support her ongoing training to help her reach her full potential. She is very dog-social and would thrive with another active dog or two. While affectionate, Luna isn't overly clingy-she'd rather be near you than on you. She's a great traveler and settles calmly in the car. Luna is a wonderful, loyal companion who will truly thrive with the right match. She's a natural guardian who takes her home and family seriously, and she feels most confident in a calmer, rural setting with a consistent routine. With an experienced, understanding owner, she'll continue to blossom into the amazing dog she's meant to be. The perfect home for Luna is one with a fenced yard, herding breed experience, time for ongoing training, and a playful canine companion. Luna is available through a Foster-to-Adopt arrangement, so ARMA can support her transition and provide resources to help her thrive. If you're an approved ARMA adopter and think Luna is your girl, please reach out to the volunteer you've been working with.
