About Lisa has till 9/2

URGENT!!! Lisa, #A2208200, is now scheduled for EUTHANASIA on 9/2/25!!! Video: https://fb.watch/BPabZidkki/?mibextid=wwXIfr&fs=e Reason for Euthanasia: Behavioral decline in shelter and demonstrating stress-related behaviors. We are unable to supply Lisa with the resources she needs and keeping her in the shelter is inhumane. She is 1 year old, 56 pounds, and came in as a 'possible owner' in July. Lisa is starting to feel more confident and loving playgroups where she has made many friends. She is great with large and small dogs. She has the cutest little corso mix face and is learning to trust all her human friends too. She would do great in a home with other dogs. We are shocked that she is out of time but as we have now passed 300 dogs at South LA and have zero open kennels we can't be surprised about any of this anymore. We need our community. We need to mobilize as there will be a lot of beautiful dogs losing their lives senselessly. Shelter hours: Tues-Fri 8am-5pm | Sat & Sun 11am-5pm | Mon emergencies only.
