Lady is a sweet 3-year-old Rottweiler who is in need of a forever home. We rescued her from her previous owner who was could not afford to take care of her and was moving as well. She loves playing catch and cuddling. She gets anxious if she's left alone, so we think the best owner for her would be someone who can dedicate most of their time to her. She is incredibly loving and gets very attached to people. She recently had a litter of 5, around 3 months ago. She doesn't show signs of aggression towards people or other dogs that she has met before but does try to lunge at cats sometimes. She can be aggressive to dogs she has not had a slow and proper introduction with, as she wasn't socialized in the past. She tends to get overly excited when other dogs bark or run around which can look aggressive. Either way, we think she would do best with average or low energy dogs. She has shown signs of resource guarding around other dogs. She also may mark territory around the house if left to roam unsupervised. She is a bit overweight. We currently give her daily walks which she enjoys very much. We also play with her ball every day. She loves to play even with her slightly lower energy level. Once she is at a healthier weight, we think her energy level may rise a bit. Will you be Lady's forever home? Reach out with any questions or if you are interested in adopting!
