About Lily

We are an MIT family moving into on-campus housing, which unfortunately is not pet-friendly. That means we need to find a new home for our beautiful girl, Lily. We rescued her at 4 months old from a breeder shut down in Canton, MA, and she's been part of our family ever since. Lily is truly the best dog-gentle, loyal, and protective. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, and has worked with a trainer. She even spent several months in Italy with us. At 3 years old, she is 100% German Shepherd. She does best with larger dogs and enjoys being off leash. We are looking for a family who understands the needs of the German Shepherd breed-that she thrives when she has a job, consistent engagement, and purpose. Ideally, she would have a fenced yard, room to run, and be near nature, where she is happiest. With our new living arrangement, along with caring for a toddler, we can no longer give Lily the time, space, and attention she deserves. It's a very difficult decision, but we will need to rehome her by September 25th.
