Tyrone came into rescue as an older puppy, found as a stray and later transferred to us when another rescue was struggling. We promised him safety and a chance. Because Tyrone is a black pit mix, a quiet victim of Black Dog Syndrome, where amazing dogs are overlooked simply because of their color or breed label. It's a stigma that has cost Tyrone two Christmases and far too much time waiting. But Tyrone hasn't given up. He still loves deeply. He still believes people are good.
