About Ava

This is Ava. Around 6 y/o, Border collie. Located in Florida. Ava is one of the sweetest, grateful dogs we have met. �%9D%A4��%8F looking for her FURever home. She once shared a home with her previous human. She was loved and adored. Until her owner met a man that didn't like dogs. Ava then had to remain outside in a small crate. In the hot sun, rain, storms, and even on nice days. The neighbor would come over to feed her and try to let her out of the crate when no one was home. Ava wasn't doing so well in the crate. She became depressed. She started to give up hope of being loved again. The neighborhood people were so bothered by her neglect they called animal control to help her. She ended up in the shelter. A concerned neighbor heard of Ewenity Farm Herding Dog Haven, told us if her story. We then rescued Ava and placed her in a foster home. It took Ava some time to trust that it was okay to come out of her crate. After she realized none was going to hurt her you could see the happiness come over her. She is being fostered with 3 dogs, a 2 Yorkies , poodle and 2 cats. If you are looking for a kind dog that has a beautiful soul, it would definitely be Ava. This girl has a Miraculous story!!
