A2183834, Dutton at West Valley Shelter, Euthanasia Imminent for 9/3!!!!! This handsome young boy has severe levels of FAS (Fear anxiety stress) & needs out ASAP due to his severe decline!!!! The last day to commit to Dutton is on September 2, 2025!!! Euthanasia is Imminent on September 3, 2025!!! Dutton is a 3-year-old neutered male German Shepherd whose owner surrendered him to the South LA animal shelter on 4/11/25 due to destructive behavior. He is now at West Valley Shelter and this sweet boy is struggling and he's been added to the euthanasia list after showing signs of stress, including barking, drooling, and circling in his kennel. Dutton is high-energy, playful, and has separation anxiety, meaning he does best with an active, experienced handler who can give him structure, exercise, and attention. He has good playgroup notes, he is social with other dogs when introduced properly. Dutton needs out of the shelter now, the stress is taking a toll.
