About HAPPY

He came in two months ago as a possible owner, a little nervous, and no one ever claimed this gorgeous dog. In two months he's been in 14 playgroups and has the nicest notes: gentle/dainty, push/pull, social, good corrections when dogs are being pushy, tires out quick, gentleman, opened up quick, pleasant, lives up to his name! Happy is a pretty mellow guy who enjoys being next to volunteers in the yard, he's content to just chill nearby when volunteers are chatting and snag a few treats. He comes when volunteers call him - just like a good boy. Happy's favorite pastime is getting some exercise playing FETCH! An eager ball chaser, Happy will run after whatever you throw, retrieve it and return it to you, often dropping it right in your lap or hands. If you're lucky, you'll get to see him hop around playfully with the ball batting it around in between tosses. A patient and polite young man, Happy is a gem of a dog and volunteers want to see him go to a home where his family will fully commit to him for the rest of his days. He can have a strong pull on leash when walking through the kennels so his new family should be prepared for all of the joys that come with bringing a bigger furry friend home.
