About Miracle

Hi, I'm Miracle. I've lived up to my name more than once. When I first came to the rescue years ago, I was in rough shape-starved, used, and forgotten. But I got a second chance. A wonderful woman adopted me and gave me the kind of life every dog dreams of. I was loved, safe, and finally allowed to just be a dog. It was the happiest time of my life. Sadly, my person passed away unexpectedly. I didn't just lose my home-I lost my best friend. Now I'm back with the rescue, and while it's hard to start over, I know they'll help me find the right family again. I just need someone who sees me for who I am-and understands how far I've come. I'm about 50 pounds and 6.5 years old. I do best as the only pet in the home. Because of what I've been through, I can be possessive of my space and my things. It's not something I'm proud of-it's just how I learned to survive. But in a calm, loving home where I don't have to share, I do really well. That's how it was with my last person for years. It worked beautifully. What I need now is someone patient and understanding-someone who'll give me structure, kindness, and time to adjust. I've known deep pain, but I've also known deep love.
