About Tyler

Tyler is a 4-year-old, 60-lb mixed-breed gentleman: house-trained, neutered, up-to-date on shots, great in the car, leash trained, and reliable off-leash in calm areas. He's smart, enjoys learning, and loves training sessions. He's happiest with quiet companionship, whether hiking or relaxing at home. Life with our twin toddlers has become too overwhelming for him. With the constant activity and noise, he's developed anxiety and spends most of his time gated or alone, which isn't fair to him. We started him on medication to cope with our hectic household, but we believe he may not need it in a calmer setting. We're heartbroken to rehome him but know he'll thrive with less chaos. Tyler isn't a 'fixer-upper', he's a calm, loyal, and intelligent companion. The ideal home is a family or individual without young kids or cats. We're offering a supported trial placement: if it's not the right fit he comes home to us. Tyler deserves a second chapter filled with peace and good company.
