About Jack Shepherd

Jack is a 4-year-old Labrador mix with a heart as big as his paws. Weighing in at 69 pounds, this gentle giant might look a little tough at first glance, but he's a total sweetheart who is just waiting to find a forever family to love. Jack is neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on all his vaccinations. He's heartworm negative, parasite-free, and currently on monthly Simparica Trio to protect him from fleas, ticks, heartworms, roundworms, and hookworms. In short, he's healthy, happy, and ready to go home! We found Jack abandoned on the street, before rescuing him. He's loyal, affectionate, and loves to be around people. While Jack hasn't had much exposure to children, he's done well with both kids and adults in limited interactions. Due to this, we believe he would thrive best in an adult-only household simply because that's what he's most familiar with. Jack would love a backyard to run and play in, and someone who enjoys quiet moments and loyal companionship.
