About Valentine

Hello, my name is Valentine. I'm a 9-year-old poodle/shih tzu mix with a heart full of love. All I need is someone to share it with. Life has been a little tough lately. My mommy got sick a year ago. Her other kids put me in boarding, while they took care of her. 8 long months have gone by; and I just recently found out my mommy passed away last month. And now my family has surrendered me to the boarding place for good. Even though I've been very brave, what I really dream of is a soft couch, a quiet home, and a person to call my own again. I'm a calm little guy who enjoys peace and comfort. I do fine with other pups after a gentle introduction, but I'd be just as happy soaking up your love as the only dog in the house. I'm neutered, up to date on vaccines, and in good health-other than slowly losing sight in one eye (but don't worry, it doesn't stop me from living a happy life!). More than anything, I want to spend my golden years by someone's side. If you have a cozy spot in your home and heart, I'd be the most grateful companion.
