About Lady

Hi, I'm Lady - a 1-year-old Husky with a heart full of love! My favorite things are belly rubs, giving kisses, and soaking up attention from the people I trust. Once I know you, I'll be your shadow and your snuggle buddy. I get along really well with other dogs, big and small, and I do great in doggie daycare. Birds and street cats don't distract me much (though I'm not sure yet how I feel about indoor cats). I'm also pretty comfortable with condo life - elevators and stairs are no problem for me! I'm potty trained, know the potty command, and I'm starting to learn fun tricks like sit, shake, down, stay, kiss, and even speak! I'm also working on crate training and doing really well with car rides - I've got great manners in the car. I'm usually on the quieter side, and while I have little bursts of energy, I don't need a ton before I'm ready to relax. Like most young huskies, I'm still working on a few things. I can be shy with new people (unless they have a dog with them, then I warm up faster!), and busy, unfamiliar places sometimes make me nervous. I also get a little sad when my humans leave, and sometimes I feel jealous if other dogs get more attention than me. But with patience, love, and reassurance, I know I'll continue to grow more confident every day. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to give kisses, play with other dogs, and curl up with you after, I think we could be the perfect match.
