About Mittens

Meet Mittens. We love Mittens! When she came in as a little kitten she was full of confidence and just stormed the kitten room and took over! Sadly, Mittens has just celebrated her one year birthday with us. We can't understand why, except that adoptions are down in general. Mittens is a beautiful little tuxedo and so fun!. She loves the kitty friends in our shelter and would do best to go home with one of her buddies, or into a house that has a playful kitty. She loves children and adults and charms everyone who meets her. And did we mention she's adorable? Just look at that face! If you can offer a safe indoor home for Mittens, please get your application in on the homepage of this website www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org. Once on the website, please select 'Download A Cat Adoption Application' and complete the application. Please email us at [email protected] to verify that we received your application. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes.
