Leah is currently in a high-kill shelter in Georgia and needs a committed foster or adopter to claim her spot on our 9/6 transport to Cedarburg, Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. We are a foster-based rescue, so we can only save as many dogs as we have homes for. Leah deserves a chance - can you help? About Leah: Leah is an 11-week-old Black Lab mix puppy who has already experienced a rough start to life. She's friendly and curious, and a typical happy pup. Leah has some minor scars on her back and front legs that are all healed and they don't affect her energy or spirit. She was found as a stray so we do not know what happened to her previously, but we do know she would be a great fit for someone looking to give a sweet little pup a second chance at life. She is spayed, weighs around 12 pounds, and has received two rounds of DHPP vaccines (7/22 and 8/5). Leah is ready to travel and start her new life, far from the shelter system. Details: Breed: Black Lab mix Age: 11 weeks Gender: Female (spayed) Weight: ~12 lbs Good with dogs, cats, kids (typical puppy) Transport is scheduled for September 6 to Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Please reach out if you're interested in fostering or adopting Leah. Giving her a place in your home could save her life.
