He was found as a stray and brought to the shelter, and while we don't know much about his past, it's clear he's ready to move on to a better future. Hundo is a toy-loving goofball who's still learning how to handle all that size - he's sweet at heart but definitely needs help with his leash manners. Right now, he's a strong puller and would benefit from a home familiar with large breeds and willing to work on basic training. Despite his size, Hundo is gentle-natured and eager to engage. He'll do best with people who can give him the space (and boundaries) he needs to grow into a well-balanced companion. Hundo is hoping to catch a ride to Wisconsin on 9/6, but he needs a committed foster or adopter lined up to board the transport. He can be adopted right off the van - but someone has to be waiting on the other end. Will update his bio when he is tested with dogs, cats, kids. Probably good with dogs and kids- not sure about cats. Age: 2 Years Gender: Male Weight: 65 lbs Breed: Anatolian/Pyrenees Mix (best guess) Spayed/Neutered: No - will be for transport Heartworm Status: Negative Potty Trained: Unknown Crate Trained: Unknown Leash Manners: Needs improvement - very strong Good with Dogs: Not yet tested Good with Cats: Not yet tested Good with Kids: Not yet tested Hundo is a giant in size and in potential - ready for a second chance with someone who understands what it takes to raise a big, goofy pup into a gentle giant. Apply today to foster or adopt and help Hundo take his first steps toward a better life. __________ Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up to date dewormer, vaccinations, and heart worm prevention (age appropriate).
