He was found as a stray but has quickly shown everyone just how lovable and well-mannered he is. Charlie walks nicely on leash, is friendly with other dogs, and does great with kids. He's an easy keeper-quiet in his kennel, not a barker, and overall just a good-natured, happy boy. This young dog has so much potential and just needs a chance to show how great he can be in a home setting. Charlie is hoping to catch a ride on Mutt Life Dog Rescue's transport from Georgia to Cedarburg, WI on 9/6, but he needs a foster or adopter to tag him-otherwise, he won't be able to make the trip. Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. ?3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure.
